Hello! My name is Beau Anderson and I am from Kansas City. Kansas City is a city in the Midwest, in both Missouri and Kansas. I am from the Missouri side and most of my family lives in the KC area. This past June, I graduated from the University of Denver (DU), where I studied History. I also had minors in Leadership, Sociology, and French. I have loved learning about history since I was an elementary student! I love to travel and explore new states, cities, and countries, and I am a big fan of swimming. I started swimming at a young age and was on a swim team through college. I also enjoy trying new restaurants, going for walks or hikes, and spending time with family and friends.
I got to live and study in the South of France in college, in Aix-en-Provence, and have been learning French since high school. I decided to become an English Teaching Assistant in France due to my passion for education and learning. I applied for and was selected for this opportunity through the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. I am grateful to be an assistant at a high school in Lille this year! I have known I wanted to teach for the past few years, and look forward to learning more about schools in France. I am excited to meet my host school students soon! I hope you all have a great start to the school year, and that you each had a fun and safe summer. I can't wait to engage with you all this year!
