The classes that my college offered were interesting, so learning was always fun.
It was one of my college classes that inspired me to want to go to Japan. In one of my college history classes, I learned about Japanese Samurais in Mexico (samurais are Japanese warriors), Mexicans in Japan, and other Spanish groups in Japan! I did not know that this history existed, so I wanted to go to Japan and see it myself. However, at the time, I did not think I would be able to go to Japan because it is very expensive to travel to another country. Thankfully, the scholarship adviser at my university told me about the many scholarships I could get. A scholarship is money that you can receive as a student that supports you doing things like traveling while continuing your studies. You can get a scholarship for just about anything, and some are more specific than others, but you can win multiple of them!
College has been life changing for me. You can also win a lot of scholarships to go to college. Coming to Japan has also been life changing for me, and it was thanks to college and scholarship opportunities that I was able to come here to Japan in the first place. I have made a lot of memories and have many stories in Japan that I cannot wait to share with you!
