The farthest I have traveled this week is to Malaga, Spain. It was one hour and 20 minutes away in a car; we got a ride from a lady named Rosio! Malaga is where I went to the beach. I also went to the famous Pablo Picasso Museum! Pablo Picasso was a Spanish artist born in Malaga who produced some amazing artwork. I also toured the city of Malaga and visited a "mirador", which is an observation deck, where you walk up a huge mountain to see the view of this amazing city, along with the sea, and Ferris Wheel.
Two weekends ago I visited Madrid, it was a five hour bus ride! Madrid is a huge city, and three days was not enough to explore everything! I took advantage of my time and visited everything I could! I visited the city center which was FULL of people. Madrid is a very touristy place; therefore I heard many different languages being spoken, and a lot of different cultures being represented.
This week I have used five different forms of transportation! First, I walked a lot -- more than nine miles in one day. Second, I used an app. called BlaBla Car, which is kind of like Uber but better. How it works is if someone is making a trip somewhere in their own car, they can log in and see if anyone else needs a ride and pay the app a small fee.
