Ahoj (Hi)!
I am Ariana Sanchez, a first-generation Mexican American woman from Las Vegas, Nevada, standing at the edge of a departure that feels both deeply personal and quietly historic. At twenty years old, I am learning that travel is not only movement across borders, but a philosophical act—one that asks who we are, where we come from, and what responsibilities we carry when we leave home carrying more than just our own name. My journey to the Czech Republic is not simply about seeing a new country; it is about exploring political science and philosophy through the lens of lived experience, identity, and history, while honoring the path that made my own departure possible.
