Settling in Anam

Once I finish lunch, I explore Anam and pick out restaurants to try out the next day. Along the way, there are claw machines and arcades. Sometimes I stop and try out the machines, but I haven't been able to win anything yet!

For the remainder of the day I visit my favorite café and do homework as I wait for my friends to finish class. Once they finish class we all get dinner together. I usually make the recommendations on where we should eat. (I also like taking pictures of all the delicous food!) Korean students follow a similar schedule to international students, so restaurants are very vibrant and busy around dinnertime. After dinner, we sometimes stop at another café to continue doing our homework. Other times we walk around and explore the neighborhood, enjoying the nice weather.

On the weekends my friends and I explore other parts of Seoul that are popular with college students. Hongdae and the Han River are normally bustling with young people and activites.  I am excited for the weeks to come when I can explore many more places!
