English is spoken in the U.K. and Italian in Florence. Believe it or not, I hear American accents quite a bit.
In the U.K., the pound (£) is used. In Italy, euros (€) are used.
Since London is definitely considered expensive, I would say ot costs about 2 pounds is the average price for a bottle of water ($2.70).
Pizza in Florence was the best! It came out very fresh, and the marinara sauce was so sweet. The pie itself wasn't that big, so I was able to finish it all by myself.
My friends and I all love singing along to live music. The band at the pub we visited after our hike was playing many throwback songs that everyone knew. My favorites were "Sweet Caroline" and "Riptide". We were all screaming at the top of our lungs!
