I traveled 89 miles up the coast this week to a town called Peñiscola. It is a really small city built into a mountain overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

I rode the bus to class every day this week. I walked to different shops and stores around my apartment and went for a run through a park a couple miles away. Valencia is a very bike-friendly city, so I want to start biking more.
The small town of Peñiscola was one of the prettiest places I've ever been and full of so much history. The water there in the Mediterranean Sea is the bluest I've ever seen. The city is home to one of the oldest castles in Europe. The Pope actually lived there for a few years.
It was fun to stay around Valencia this weekend and explore my new home a little more. I just booked tickets to some pretty exciting places on my days off. I am looking forward to traveling to other countries soon, but a relaxing weekend here was just what I needed before I start my next week.
