This week I was able to visit Lutherstadt Wittenberg, where I completed my study abroad semester in 2024. While there, I was able to see some old friends and reconnect with the town I once called home.
This week I started re-reading one of my favorite books: The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. While I have read it many times before, I am now comparing the English and German versions—sometimes certain passages would not make sense to a German audience and are left out entirely.
This week we played "Spoons" with some German friends. They had never played before and were excited to learn about the new rules.
A large portion of Berlin faced a power outage in the past week, and officials are currently investigating the cause and group behind the act.
