One of the best parts of travelling is meeting new people. From my neighbors and colleagues to even my tour guides, I am constantly learning more about the human experience and different points of view.
One tricky part about being away is missing my two cats, Nowy and Anne. Fortunately I still get to see many as I travel... cats seemed to have long since taken over the world.
My travels so far have also taken me to Spain and Portugal. In Toledo, Spain, I got to see this long, surviving stretch of a Roman aqueduct. The resilience of it was truly breathtaking.
