South American Sea Lions!

Usually, the fishermen sell the fish they catch at the fish market, but they take off the fish skin and other parts.  When they throw into the ocean, the sea lions eat them.

What can harm this creature or plant? Are we worried about it?:

TSouth American sea lions can be harmed when humans throw trash, chemicals or other things that do not belong into the ocean. However, Chile is a very environmentally conscious country, which bodes well for the sea lions.  Nonetheless, the sea lions can occasionally be harmed if they get caught in fishing nets. In general, we are not worried about these sea lions because there is a large population of them, they eat well and many people are conscious of avoiding throwing toxins into the ocean that may harm them.
