My time in Slovenia is not yet over, and I do have a few months left, but unfortunately our time together is soon coming to a close. I have very much enjoyed sharing a bit about my journey and time here as a biologist in Slovenia with all of you. It has been a great experience for me and definitely has helped to remind me of what a great opportunity I have been given to study in such a unique place. If you have never heard of Slovenia before, as I'm guessing most of you have not, I hope you leave here with a better understanding of what this magnificent little country has to offer, from the Mediterranean coast to the Alpine mountains. Maybe someday some of you will even visit here!
Keep working hard at school, but also don't forget to enjoy being a kid, too, and never stop exploring all that the world has to offer. I hope my journey to Slovenia has helped to inspire some of you to become more interested in biology and the study of the world around us! You can do this anywhere you are, whether it is in your own backyard or halfway around the world. I'm sure it's much too early for any of you to know exactly what you want to do in life, but I encourage you to keep an open mind and see where life takes you.
