So Many Tests!

I knew that if I went to sleep very late, I would not be able to wake up in time to take my exams or go to my classes. If I do manage to go to my classes after a late night, then I would still be sleepy in class. I cannot go to sleep in class! You may ask yourself: how did I study so much, but still go to sleep at a proper hour? Well, I used my time wisely. I woke up early before class and glanced over my notes. After my classes finished, I would look at my notes again. As you can see, studying also plays a role in what time I can go to sleep. A good night's rest leaves me energetic and ready for the day. During midterms week, I was ready to succeed on all of my tests because I was well rested!

The thing that helps me the most during a test is to remember to stay relaxed. It is so easy to for me to look at the test paper and get confused sometimes, but I know I studied enough to pass. All I have to do is relax and allow myself to think about all that I have learned. Please be careful though, I am only able to do this because I studied and got the proper rest. If I did not do these things, then I would fail the test. Midterm week for us college students is a lot of work as you can see, but I made a plan to get through it!

So remember, taking tests is a skill. You have to be well prepared every time if you want to succeed. We all take tests at some point in our lives and it is up to us to pass them. My plan is what led to my success, but it can be different for every person. As young people, try to think of things you can do to succeed on your upcoming tests.
