This week, I took my midterm exam. A midterm exam is a test that everyone has to take during the middle of the school term. I had to take four of these tests! The four classes I am taking are pretty difficult. The classes are English, Math, Economics and Engineering! Every college student knows that it is important to pass midterms and I knew exactly what I needed to do. These tests are part of what my grade for the class will be! First, I had to study to make sure I knew enough information. Second, I had to get the proper rest every day of the week so I would not be tired for my classes. Finally, I had to stay relaxed and trust that I was prepared enough to pass the test!
Studying is the reason I have succeeded on tests in the past. This strategy helps me go over things that my teacher taught me, and this is useful because I forget a lot of things. I take four different classes, with four different teachers. Every teacher gives me a lot of work, so I have to study for each class in order to remember the work. I usually study an hour for each class every day, but during the week of midterms, I had to study at least two hours for each class! I knew I could not pass these tests if I did not study, so I had to do what was necessary.
Getting the proper rest is very important as well.
