Adios

With the help of the rice cooker and airfryer I bought on Amazon, most of my meals now are prepared by me at home. I search up a cooking video online and get to work. Another thing I started to do to fill in my time was going on walks. I wish I had started this earlier. The city is a relatively small city but there is so much to see if you just wander. Most days, I leave my apartment and just start walking with no final destination, just wherever the streets lead me. I have found beautiful spots and parks I did not even know existed by doing this.

What's next? Your time here with me is done, but I still have three months left in Spain. Now what do those three months look like? In all honesty, I am just going with the flow, like I always do. I have some trips planned to visit some old friends, other quick weekend trips, and probably my last long trip for which I will be going to Bucharest, Romania and Tenerife, Spain over ten days.

As the weather is getting better now, I do also want to take advantage of more of the hikes here in Asturias. There is something calming about being at the top of these mountains and marvelling at how large and beautiful they are. I'm still not 100% sure what I will do when I get back to Newport, but I'll figure it out. Some of this time in the next three months will definitely be spent job hunting and opportunity-seeking. Fulbright has allowed me to meet so many new people and experience things I could never have dreamed of. One day, I will look back at this opportunity and cherish all these memories. Until then, I am sure I'll see some of you in Newport soon. Adios!
