Across Classrooms: A Journey of Connection

It's about people and understanding how culture shapes the way we live, celebrate, learn and support one another.

Living in Cambodia has taught me so much about community. I have been welcomed into a host family, worked alongside Khmer teachers and shared daily life with students who greet me with smiles and curiosity. These experiences have shown me the importance of empathy and openness when encountering cultures different from our own. I hope that through these stories, you were able to see Cambodia not just as a place on the map, but as a community full of traditions, families, schools and everyday routines.

Most importantly, I hope this project helped show that even though we may live in different countries, speak different languages and grow up in different cultures, we are more connected than we realize!
