Hola! Me llamo Abigail y soy de Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! (Hello! My name is Abigail, and I'm from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania!) Pittsburgh is known for our hockey, bridges, and French fries on sandwiches (definitely would recommend!). I love my city, but as I have grown-up, I have realized that my home can be more than just a place. I now believe that it is also a feeling, and for me, my home has become the people and things that make my heart feel full. Therefore, I have made it my mission to explore the world: learning about new cultures, meeting new people, and creating new homes around the globe.
Apart from traveling, I love to read all types of books; however, my favorites are the ones that involve mythical creatures, mystery, and adventure. I also love to bake and am a true believer that every situation can be made better by eating a delicious chocolate chip cooking. However, chocolate chips have been a little bit harder to find in my current location. As part of the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, I am currently living in the Amazon rainforest. Here in the Amazon, I get to spend a lot of time searching for monkeys (and other animals), dodging the rain, and trying new food.
