The weather this week was a bit gloomy. It's been cloudy most days, and it has rained often. However, when the sun does come out, it is so nice! Thankfully, it is nowhere near as cold here in Florence than it is back in Fort Wayne, so I can't complain!
I saw my first squirrel in the park! There are also tons of pigeons in Florence, which I'm not used to yet. I flinch at least once a day from a pigeon, which seems like it will fly into my face! Florence is also a very dog-friendly city, so I've seen dogs of all shapes and sizes.
I think the coolest thing I saw outdoors was the Ponte Vecchio, the historic bridge spanning the Arno River, which divides Florence into its Northern and Southern parts. From the bridge, I could see rolling hills and mountains in the distance, which made the view even more beautiful!
