So Many Trams!

I walked about 20 minutes to my school, but I only had to go once or twice a week! Gothenburg is the second biggest city in Sweden, the buildings all have many floors so everything is pretty close.

How did I feel when I tried this way of getting around?:

I really loved getting to walk and take trams. It also made it much safer to cross the street since there were almost no cars.

Is this way of getting around connected to the culture and environment, How?:

In Sweden, people really love nature. Lots of cars make a lot of smog or dirty air that hurts plants and people. So Swedish people make sure that cities have fewer cars on the road by using trams and buses. In fact, there are so few cars that there are not even any gas stations in the main part of the city. They are only in the neighborhoods outside the center of the city.
