The main language spoken here is French, but many people also speak some English.

What type of money is used here?:

France uses the euro as their currency. One United States dollar is about 0.88 euros. I had to go to someone at the airport to exchange all of my American dollars for euros! 

How much does a bottle of water cost?:

A bottle of water costs about three euros, which equals about $3.42 in the United States.

What was the best meal this week?:

The best meal I ate this week was a traditional crêpe that has sausage, salad and cream sauce on a thin pancake. I went with my sister and it was absolutely delicious! 

What music did I listen to this week?:

This week I listened to a station on Spotify which played French music that is popular among young people today. 

What activity was the most fun this week?:

My sister and I went to the top of Fourviere Hill and saw a great view of the entire city! There were hundreds of stairs that we climbed to get to the top of the hill, but the view was more than worth it. It was a sunny day without a cloud in the sky, so we could see far into the distance! Walking down the hill, we wound our way through the gardens, which had several statues and cobblestone paths.
