How was the weather this week?:

This week started out very sunny and without a cloud in the sky! It was about 32˚F, but extremely windy, which made it much colder. Later in the week, it was overcast and several degrees warmer. The wind also died down.

What animals did I see this week? :

I saw pigeons everywhere in the city! Also, many residents of the city have dogs and walk them all over the town. They are extremely well behaved dogs and many restaurants let them come inside and sit while their owners eat!

What was the coolest thing I saw in nature this week?:

There are two rivers that flow through Lyon. One is called the Rhone and the other is called the Saone. I live on the island in the middle. Recently, I walked to the end of the island and saw the point where the two rivers meet. When the two rivers meet, the Saone ends and simply becomes the Rhone. The Rhone continues on until it reaches the Mediterranean Sea!

Other Nature News from this week:

There are beautiful paths along both of the rivers in Lyon. I was able to run along the Rhone two mornings this week.
