Meet Lucy, A Czech Freshman

Introduction:

Lucka (Loo-st-kah), who also goes by Lucy, is a freshman in high school in the Czech Republic. She picked a special school to study at called a Veterinary and Agriculture High School. When she graduates, she can become a veterinary assistant, and maybe one day she will become a vet!

This school has its own cows for dairy. Students milk the cows and sell the milk. They also turn the milk into cheese, yogurt and other foods for people to buy. Our students work hard to take care of the animals day and night, and even on some weekends and holidays. They live in dormitories instead of going home to their families every night. It's sort of like college!

Here are some of the questions I asked Lucka. Watch the video of her interview too!

What do you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?:

Some days I don't eat breakfast because I don't have so much time, but I like maybe apples and juice. For lunch, I like spinach, but I don't like sweet foods like pancakes or these things. And I don't eat dinner.

What is your house like?:

I live in an apartment that has a long hall. My room is the second room in the apartment. There are five rooms altogether. My room is painted green. I love green. It's like a forest when you have trees. My dog lives with me, and he has his own little room.
