Who is Chinh?

Introduction:

Just a year ago, I graduated from college. I am quite young to be a teacher at a college, In fact, some of my students are even a little bit older than I am. Because of this, I decided that I wanted to interview someone in Lang Son who was close to my age. My student, Chinh, is two years older than I am. I think that we have a lot of common interests. At the same time, we have many different life experiences. So she was the perfect choice for this interview!

Everyone, meet Chinh!

What is your full name?:

"My full name is Hoang Ngoc Chinh."

Vietnamese names have a special order. The family name, or the last name, is put first. Next comes the middle name, and last comes the first name. So, the order of my name would be, Johnson Ann Megan. This is a common practice in many other cultures as well. Both Japanese and Korean names place the family name first.

Where do you live? What is your house like?:

Chinh told me that she "live[s] in [a] four-floor house" with her mother, father, and an older sister. I have met Chinh's mother and father. They are both very kind people. The last time I visited, they gave me an entire bag of fresh fruit!
