So far I have traveled 336 miles back and forth between Shanghai and Nanjing.
I have covered a long distance already throughout this journey. From Honolulu to Beijing, then to Nanjing and more! The total distance I've traveled is a bit over 5,965 miles!
I got around mostly by walking and taxi. Sometimes I ride shared bikes or take the subway. I also got the chance to ride on one of China's bullet trains to Shanghai and back! China has many modes of transportation available.
The most interesting place I visited this week was the Line Friends Store and Cafe in Shanghai. This store is based on the cute mascots and characters from the Line messaging app, similar to Facebook messenger or WhatsApp! The Line messaging app is extremely popular in Asia, and it is starting to get popular in the United States. The store has a lot of merchandise that has the characters on it, and there is a cafe on the second floor with themed desserts and drinks.
