This week, I traveled around 659 miles from Le Puy to London.
Between visiting London, Lyon, Geneva, Aix-en-Provence, and Toulouse, I would estimate I've traveled 1400 miles so far on this journey.
By plane, train, metro (known in London as "the Tube"), and by foot. London has a lot of public transportation options for getting around town. But my favorite way to get around is to wander on foot.
At the reconstructed Globe Theatre, where Shakespeare performed and staged his famous plays, I saw a wonderful performance of Macbeth. We arrived there by taking the Tube and then walking over London Bridge. Maybe you know a certain nursery rhyme about it?
A drone flying over Gatwick Airport near London caused hundreds of flights to be cancelled. Thankfully, ours wasn't one of them!
