In the evenings, a paper called "The Evening Standard" would be passed out while boarding the Tube (the underground train/metro). I also read a lot of "things-to-do" lists and restaurant reviews to find fun activities and places to eat with my mom. I've gotten very good at deciphering metro maps!
I didn't play any games or sports. However, I did watch a football (soccer) and rugby match at a local pub.
Brexit, or the "British Exit" from the European Union, continues to be big news in Britain and in other European countries, like France.
