The entire island of Malta is actually pretty small. It takes me one and a half hours to get to work, and that's because I have to take two buses. If I had a car, it would only take me about 20 minutes. The furthest that I traveled this week was to Gozo. It took my flatmate and me about one and a half hours to get to the boat port, then we took a 20-minute ferry and then we took another hour-long bus to our Airbnb!
I've actually done a bit of traveling to other countries on this journey! I have visited Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain and Israel so far!
When the weather is nice, I prefer to walk places. I walk at least three to four miles a day. When the weather isn't nice or if I'm going a far distance, I always take the bus! The buses are pretty reliable and go everywhere on the island. Whenever I go to the capital, I am able to take a 15-minute ferry ride across the harbor.
