The Lives of French Kids

Introduction:

Living in a city as big and chaotic as Paris surely has an impact on how kids live. From taking the subway to go to school to playing soccer with the Eiffel Tower behind you, being a kid in Paris has its perks. 

What do you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?:

Most kids in Paris like to eat bread with butter in the morning. Some of them eat it with a glass of orange juice while others prefer having some coffee.  

What is your house like?:

Houses in Paris are not very abundant. Most kids live in an apartment with their families. Most apartment buildings are pretty old and thus, don't look very similar to apartment buildings in the United States.

What chores do you have at home?:

Most kids are in charge of making their own bed and helping with the dishes after dinner. Chores in France are very similar to those in the United States.

What jobs do your parents have?:

Pierre's mother works as a nurse in one of the biggest hospitals in Paris. His dad is a teacher at a high school.

What time does school start, and what time do you go home?:

School in France starts at 8:30 AM and ends at around 4:30 PM. Students get a two-hour break in the middle of the day to eat lunch.
