Meeting my Citi Local Host, Gil!

I participate in long-distance triathlons. I spend at least four days a week either running, swimming or biking. I believe that playing sports and exercising is very important! Not only is being active important for your health, but it is also a great way to reduce stress.

What language(s) do you speak? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

I speak Hebrew, English and Romanian. My grandmother was Romanian, so she taught me how to speak Romanian. However, I do not actively speak Romanian, so it would be a bit difficult to speak it right now. However, I can understand when someone speaks to me in Romanian.

Do you have pets?:

I currently do not have any pets. However, I used to have four dogs!

Have you traveled? Where have you traveled to?:

After serving in the army, I traveled to many different countries before going to college and beginning my career. Some of the countries and cities to which I have been include Romania, Bucharest, Jamaica and Nepal.

What do you do for work?:

I work as Director, Deputy Markets Head at Citi, located in Tel Aviv. While I often have many projects that I complete on my own, I also have the responsibility of watching over the work of the other members on my team. Before the other team members submit any work, it is my responsibility to look it over and make sure that their work is accurate.

Is there anything else you would like to say to students in the United States?:

When you find something that you love, stick with it. But more importantly, try to do something creative during your free time.
