The temperature in Seoul fluctuates a lot throughout the day. Over the span of 12 hours, I was almost sweating in my light jacket, drizzled on and felt like I was freezing! Not to mention, you always have to be careful about air pollution here. When the air pollution is really bad, I have to wear a face mask outside to avoid breathing in yellow dust. I wore a face mask almost every day this week.
The animals that I see in Seoul are pet dogs, stray cats and birds. There aren't many wild animals in Seoul, but the birds on my University's campus are a beautiful blue, black and white.
There are actually mountains in the heart of Seoul! When I was walking around a residential neighborhood that only has short buildings, I was able to see the mountains in the distance while the sun was setting. It's amazing that you can see views like these without leaving the city.
