The weather in Quito was sunny in the mornings and afternoons, with cool and windy nights. The sun would shine openly in the afternoon hours, making this the hottest time of the day. In the morning, I went to the TelefériQo, the clouds were filling the sky and had just began to clear away while I was leaving.
During most of the tourism sites visited throughout my trip, I saw several families traveling with their dogs and, gangs of stray dogs among the streets of Quito. Unlike the stray dogs in America, the dogs here are treated with great kindness, and are fed by strangers with plenty of meats and treat from the local restaurants.
The Eucalipto tree (Eucalyptus) in Quito, Ecuador was a very interesting part of nature. Although this tree is not a native species to the Andes mountains of Ecuador, this is a great place to find it. The Eucalipto species was introduced to Ecuador during the term of one of their 19th century leaders, President Gabriel García Moreno.
