While driving to the El TelefériQo (the cable car), you can find these trees lining the narrows streets leading to the forests and moutains, with a clean and clear smell of mint roaming the air. Don't forget, you must roll your windows down to get a whiff of this!
As I was riding the cable car up the side of the Volcán Pichincha (Pinchincha volcano), I realized that there were various types of shrubs, grasses and small trees. While in some areas there were short, thick bushes dispersed throughtout the land, some were clear with just light brown grass and others filled with thin, long shrubs. All of the land covering this volcano created a beautiful scenery mixed with light and verdant green.
