How was the weather this week?:

Hot hot hot! Malaysia is very close to the equator so almost every day is quite sunny and quite warm. The humidity is a little different than what I am used to back at home. Here, the humidity is not as thick or uncomfortable. When you are in the shade the heat is not too bad, but I'm always sweating!

What animals did I see this week? :

Dogs are not very popular in Malaysia but I have seen a few stray cats in the city. I have also encountered monkeys, birds and a rooster!

What was the coolest thing I saw in nature this week?:

I mentioned that I saw monkeys, right? I actually met those monkeys in a cave! I had never been inside a cave before. This particular site is famous among travelers and is called Batu Caves, named after a river that runs nearby. These caves sit at the top of a limestone hill so high you have to climb 272 stairs to get to the top. Inside the caves, you will find temples, people and many monkeys hoping to eat your snacks and fruits!
