Nice to Meet You!

Using Spanish every day allowed me to learn the language so quickly. Plus, I was able to learn about a whole new culture – what people eat, what they do for fun, how they make friends and more. This exchange taught me a lot about my own culture in the U.S., too! In my second semester, I studied neuroscience in London, England. Today, I feel grateful to still remain connected with many of my friends from Argentina and England.

Besides making me become more confident as a traveler, my time studying abroad made me want to learn even more about other cultures in other parts of the world. I applied to the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, and was awarded the chance to study the human brain in Barcelona, Spain! As a recipient of a Fulbright U.S. Student grant, I feel both overjoyed and honored.

What's the best part of all? I get to share my experiences in Spain with you all through virtual exchange! Together, I am hoping that we can learn about what makes Barcelona special - and our own hometowns special, too. Maybe we can even learn some Spanish - and Catalan, Barcelona’s other official language - along the way!

Hasta pronto! (See you soon!) Fins aviat!
