Sausages, Spreads and Schnitzel

How is the food prepared?:

Käsekrainer is a type of sausage made from pork. Inside the sausage there is also garlic, salt, black pepper and small cubes of cheese. The sausage is cooked on a grill. It is important not to cook a Käsekrainer on high heat. If the heat is too high then the outside of the sausage burns while the inside stays cold. The Käsekrainer I tried was cooked perfectly!

Is this food connected to the local environment? How?:

Austria has a lot of mountains and large green pastures. This environment is perfect for raising cows and pigs for meat and cheese. Having a juicy and melty Käsekrainer is the perfect way to feel warm in the cold Austrian winter.
