My favorite activity this week was listening to the street musicians that filled the streets of Galway. One night while we were there, strangers on the street began to dance with one another. People from all across the world took each other's hands and danced to the music. It didn't matter if you knew the song or any of the lyrics. At the end of the night we were all laughing and making up dances together!
This week I read several short stories based on a fairytale called "Bluebeard" by French author Charles Perrault. I loved reading these stories and then having the opportunity to discuss them with the rest of the class. Hearing everyone's different perspective allowed me to see the stories from several different points of view.
I played "20 Questions" with some of my friends during our train ride from Limerick to Galway. It was so interesting to see what celebrities or world figures they chose for the game. Surprisingly, we had many favorite celebrities in common with one another, despite the fact that we were all from a different country.
