A Busy, "Bussing" City

How did I feel when I tried this way of getting around?:

When I first rode the BRT, I wasn't taking it too far. However, it took me only five minutes or less to get four stops. Usually in New York it takes me at least 15 minutes to go four stops. The bus moved very fast through the city, because it didn't have to deal with traffic. Plus, the seats on the bus were very comfortable and well-cushioned.

Is this way of getting around connected to the culture and environment, How?:

Since the city of Sao Paulo has a huge area of 1,521 square kilometers, it is important to have a transportation system that can move people long distances in the shortest amount of time possible. The BRT is the main way in which the people of Sao Paulo can move around in and be connected with the city in which they live, whether they are near or far from the center.
