This past weekend, when I travelled to Kaoshiung, we also took a train over to Tainan City for the day to meet up with some friends. Since it was settled by the Dutch in the 17th century, Tainan had a old Dutch fort which has been turned into a museum that shows the history of Europeans in that area. It was really interesting to learn about the history of Taiwan and see the beautiful views of the city from the top of the fort!

I was actually able to play volleyball on the beach this weekend when I visited Kaoshiung City. A group of people were playing and my friends and I asked to join. It was so much fun and especially exciting for me because I played volleyball all throughout college and have really missed it!
