I am reading a book about the history of the Lei Fomento, which is the municipal law for theatre that I am studying. It is full of essays written by folks who have benefitted from the law. I enjoy reading personal stories and emotional writing to learn more about theatre here.
I did not play any games or sports this week but I hope to attend another capoeira class soon (pronounced kah-poh-eih-rah). Capoeira is similar to martial arts. It comes from Africa and is practiced widely in Brazil.
Sunday we celebrated Pride in São Paulo - the pride parade here is the largest in the world. Dancing in the avenues with friends as the sun set was unforgettable!
