I travel about 48 km (30 miles) to and from Grado to Oviedo four times a week, so I will travel up to 192 kilometers (113 miles) each week. To get to and from Gijón, it's around 31 kilometers (19 miles) by bus to the coast from Oviedo. So in total, I have traveled roughly 223 km (139 miles).
This weekend alone I've traveled around 35 km (21 miles) both by bus and by foot. This includes the buses we took and the amount of walking we had to do to get to the beach in Gijón.
I mostly used the public buses. This includes my trips to Grado and my weekend in Gijón. Once I arrived in both Grado and Gijón, I could get anywhere I wanted to go on foot.
The most interesting places I visited this week were two beaches in Gijón: Playa de Poniente and Playa de San Lorenzo. I love the beach because, being from Montana, going to the ocean and swimming in the sea is the same as getting a sweet treat as a child.
