A Holiday Visit to the Galapagos Islands - Feliz Navidad!

My trip to the Galapagos Islands over my holiday break! I visited with my Peace Corps friend, Erin. As much as I saw, there is so much more to see and experience. Maybe I need to plan a second trip?

So many birds around the pier. A pelican minding one of the fishing boats.
A frigatebird on the pier. You usually don't see them up close.
This is about as close as you usually get to a frigatebird.
Sealions are a common sight in Puerta Ayora. They sleep on the benches at night.
One last coffee before my flight back to Quito.
Taking the water taxi back to Baltra Island to fly back to Quito.
Baltra Island was a U.S. base during WWII. Very little remains of the base now.
