Here's a link to one of the songs I've been loving: https://open.spotify.com/track/6mdLX10dvBb7rGYbMXpKzz?si=1af9980e9c2b4786.
The song is from a movie called Baar Baar Dekho, which means Look Again and Again. The movie is a science-fiction romantic comedy about a man who figures out that he can time travel!
This Friday, my friend Ria and I went to a handicraft market that focuses on locally-made goods. I'm finding lots of things like fabric and textiles here that I want to take home or get tailored into clothes while I'm here!
This week, I'm reading a book called Poor Economics. This book talks about similar concepts to your book, Thirst. In Poor Economics, the authors talk about the roots of poverty and how to end it, with a specific focus on India. One of the major themes in the book is the importance of government in addressing poverty. Access to water is very similar, and these two issues go hand in hand, often affecting the same vulnerable populations.
I have enjoyed a new game called Ludo! Ludo is a board game that can be played with anywhere from two to four people. It's lots of fun! I played with my best friend's cousins and they taught me all the rules. It's similar to Sorry! if you've ever played that game.
