4J! I can't believe it's already time to say goodbye.
It has been so much fun getting to share my experiences in India with you. Every time we talked, I was so impressed by your curiosity, your thoughtful questions and the way you connected what I told you to what you’re learning in school. You all made this experience even more special for me, and I’m so grateful for that.
Since I last spoke with you, I had an amazing weekend in the mountains of Shimla, a beautiful hill town in northern India. The air was crisp and cool, and the mountains were covered in tall pine trees. One of the highlights of my trip was getting to ride a horse along a mountain trail. It was so fun to take in the view from up high. I also saw some amazing wildlife, including a group of playful monkeys swinging through the trees— they even stole sunglasses off a woman's face! It was crazy. One of the cutest moments of my weekend was getting to hold a tiny, fluffy bunny during one of our excursions. It was so soft, I almost didn’t want to give it back!
Lately, I’ve been spending more time at our community hospital, CRHSP Ballabgarh. It's a rural health program run by AIIMS Delhi, which is the hospital and medical school that has been hosting me this year.
