Although I may have come here with an American group, most of my time is spent hanging out with a group of Italians. Some of them know English, and I just speak Russian with the ones that don't! They are all very picky about their food (especially the Italian dishes) and love that my name is Paolo because it's Italian. We take turns cooking for each other since I want to show them American dishes and they want to show me Italian dishes. We see each other almsot every day, so I would say we have become very close friends. Some of my Italian friends even helped me shoot my last video for all of you! Overall, it has been very easy to fit in around here. The country doesn't feel so different from America that I feel lost, I have plenty of friends, and when I speak Russian, everyone is friendly towards me!
