Extreme Living in the Far, Far North

These animals have skin, fur, and hair that is already adapted to the cold environment, and for thousands of years, they have kept people warm in extremely cold polar environments. These photos, which I took at the museum in Nuuk, Greenland, show the traditional animal skin clothing used for warmth and some decorative clothing and boots.

If you were a polar explorer, what equipment and gear would you bring to help you adapt to this environment?
