I cannot believe I am saying goodbye to this class and my journey with Reach the World already! It is the beginning of April and while we still have one more video call together, my written pieces are coming to an end.

I am still in Florence for a little over a month longer, and I am trying to savor aspects of this journey that I have grown to love such as my consistent traveling, my new friends or exploring this beautiful city. I have really enjoyed sharing the details from my time here, as it has allowed me to reminisce, laugh and experience the serenity of complete gratitude. You have heard me share details on delayed travel, a stolen phone and humbling cultural lessons, but I have always tried to share these details with a smile. I hope this encourages a positive mindset towards the risks of going abroad and how they can be handled. It is all part of the experience!

How can I rehash the excursions I’ve shared? Well, I have done my best to appreciate the beauty of Italy, whether in a bustling city like Rome or in my romantic home-base of Florence. I have enjoyed the hills of Tuscany and the beach town of Viareggio, and I will be able to discuss my upcoming trip to Sicily during our next call!
