Student in Hong Kong

Introduction:

The student I interviewed is 14 years old and currently in middle school here in Hong Kong. She has her own part-time job taking photos of tourists, which is actually how I met her and learned about her story.

What do you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?:

Favorite meal is bread or homemade meals.

What is your house like?:

My house is a bit smaller compared to houses in mainland China but it is very warm and comforting.

What chores do you have at home?:

I wash dishes and help to mop the floor.

What jobs do your parents have?:

My parents are chefs.

What time does school start, and what time do you go home?:

Schools starts from 8:00am to 8:40 am and school ends at 3:30pm.

How do you get to school? Are you allowed to go to school by yourself?:

I'm allowed to go to school by myself, and I walk to school.

Where do you eat lunch? What is your favorite food?:

I eat lunch at restaurants, home and McDonald's.

What language do you speak at school? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

I speak Cantonese in school. Nei hou. (Hello)
