I can't believe it's already time to say goodbye! Living in Mannheim, Germany has been such a special adventure, and sharing it with you all made it even better. Every week, I looked forward to your curious questions and thoughtful comments—they reminded me why learning about the world is so exciting. Thank you, Penelope and class, for giving me the time and space to share my journey. You made this experience unforgettable!
My time in Germany has made me even more interested in the world around me. I've had the chance to explore new places, try different foods and see how people live in ways that are both different from and similar to what I know. It's been an eye-opening experience that showed me just how much there is to learn when you step into someone else's shoes.
One of the biggest lessons I've learned is that people around the world sometimes see things differently! Whether it's how people greet each other, what they eat or how they spend their days, there's no "right" or "wrong" way to do things. When we take the time to understand other cultures, we grow as people and learn how to be kinder, more open and overall better members of our own communities.
