There are times in everyone's life when you just have to try something new. Scuba diving (or bucear) is a perfect example of a time I decided to do just that. There were certainly times during this new experience when I was scared to be underwater (about 15 meters, or 50 feet, underwater) but learning how to scuba dive all ended up being worth it! Sometimes the best thing you can do is work through fear. Have you ever been scared of something but worked through your fears?
My marina experience started with me being lost and spending 20 minutes trying to find the scuba diving shop, but I finally made it! And of course everyone there told me, "No te preocupes" or "Don't worry". Then we all got in a truck and headed off on an adventure.
When we got to the marina, we got everything together and immediately saw a sting ray! The journey out to sea took us about 20 minutes, and on the way we saw whales and dolphins! Then we went to the coral reef and dove TWO times, spending 55 minutes underwater each time. It was such an incredible experience.
