Delicious Foods in China

The food in China can be very different from food in the United States, but it is all very delicious! Here are some photos of foods that I have eaten so far.

These are baozi, which are steamed buns filled with meat, vegetables or bean paste... does this baozi look familiar?
Hotpot is one of my favorite meals, and you can dip anything in the broth!
Coffee is becoming popular in China, even though most people prefer to drink tea
eating in China is a communal experience because dishes are shared with everyone at the table
Shanghai is a very international city, so I can get food from any country here, such as this pizza cooked with ingredients from Italy!
Fruit is very affordable in China, and you can buy it at stands on the side of the road or at the grocery store
These are actually eggs-- they are made in a process that can take a few days or even months!
This lamb is cooked the way it is eaten in Inner Mongolia
