I did not travel very far this week, staying mostly around the center of the city. I was never more than a mile away from home.
My journey from Minnesota to Omsk was 5,534 miles!
Since I live in the city center, I usually walk to my different destinations. However, I have also taken the bus to get to a shopping mall that sits across the river from where I live.
This week I tried out a coffee shop that originated in Omsk, but has since spread to several different cities around Russia. They also have a booklet about their brand, which I found very interesting to read (in Russian of course!).
I am finally over my jet lag, which is making sleeping easier and exploring Omsk more fun! When you travel a long way in a short period of time, it plays strange tricks on your body.
